this week i sent $$$ to a Redistribution Fund for Black Trans & LGBTQ+ Folks. "Black Trans & LGBTQ+ folks are in desperate and constant need of support. Our livelihood is at stake and our lives are under attack. Black Trans & LGBTQ+ folks deserve to live our lives beyond our wildest dreams while we’re still alive to do so. By donating to this fund, you will be supporting the direct needs and desires of Black Trans & LGBTQ+ people."

please challenge yourself and others to give money to people directly and not just to large non proifts for the tax write-off. that thinking is a product of white supremacy. and yes, a redistribution fund is a little different than giving money directly, but i'm thinking that for my parents, for example, or anyone that doesn't know to who or how to give money, that this is a great option. appreciate the effort that goes into facilitating funds like these.
