maybe you saw that i was thinking about art the other day but i didn't say anything about writing. not that i don't think writing is art, but i maybe haven't intentionally approached my own writing as art(?). but i do sit here each week and share a few lines and i think that counts as a writing practice. when i have anxiety brain and can't stop thinking about things (because i don't want to forget them), i'll write the thoughts down so i can let my brain rest (or at least make space for other thoughts). and when i send messages to a crush or respond to an email from an old friend i try to be thoughtful and careful. so while maybe they're not art on their own, i imagine as bits and pieces woven together they could form an art. one large art. a collection of arts. some form that i don't know yet, but i can picture it printed in booklet form and sitting on your nightstand. you're about two-thirds of the way through and you're using a pokemon green energy card as a bookmark. when you finish it let me know if you want to talk.
