"Labryssa is a 32 year old black trans woman from Oakland, California. Finally, after years of trying, she has scheduled bottom surgery and is fully ready for this new lease on life! This fundraiser is to cover the expenses to prep for and recover from surgery. The cost of living in the San Francisco Bay Area is among the highest in the nation so she needs to be truly prepared to avoid added stress from vulnerability. The goal for this fundraiser is $19,000.

She will be paying for things such as laser hair removal in advance of the surgery ($2100), rent / bills and all living expenses while unable to work ($3600), as well as transportation to numerous doctor appoinments ($850), and lodging in San Francisco for 3 weeks following the surgery ($6000). Also aiming to secure $6000 to purchase a car so Labryssa can finally be able to travel safely to and from medical appointments, work (expanding her job opportunities), and the homes of her chosen family."
